Fureze Anti-Hairball Oral Paste for Cats

Hairballs can be a common problem in cats, as they groom themselves by licking their fur, and with this, often they ingest hair. Cat hair is very fine, and often accumulates in the stomach lining. Because of their size, hairballs often get trapped in the stomach and can cause a blockage which may be demonstrated by constipation, a cough or even vomiting. 

Fureze® envelopes hairballs in a highly lubricated mucus sheath. This facilitates the aided elimination of the hairball either through the lower intestines or via regurgitation.

In addition, regular use of Fureze® can help to prevent hairballs forming. Single hairs adhering to the stomach mucosa are less likely to coalesce, and so hairballs are no longer formed. Fureze has been found to be well tolerated in most cats of varying breeds and ages.
